The Labyrinth has been created to enhance the already spectacular - and challenging! - Coast Path walk between Looe and Seaton*.

As the path skirts the highest hill on that stretch, it passes alongside a 60-ft circular labyrinth that's been carved into the sheep-nibbled turf of the hillside.

You can visit it at any time of day, any day of the year, through a kissing gate.

Please keep dogs under control on leads and children in your sight, as there may be farm animals and/or wild animals around.

Free entry, any donation towards upkeep very welcome!

The Labyrinth is reached from the Coast Path between Looe and Seaton. If you have the energy and time to walk 3.5 miles (5 km) you'll find the labyrinth about half way along.

If you want less of a walk, you can park at an access point to the Coast Path in one of two places, each of them about half a mile (1 km) from the labyrinth. Please note that even this shorter walk may be a challenge for some - the path winds its way along the cliff, it is narrow and steep in places, and there are steps and stiles. It is NOT suitable for wheels.

The access points are at National Trust Bodigga Cliff, or at National Trust Struddicks (Keveral Beach); see map below. At each location there is parking space, free of charge, for one or two cars on the laneside verge; be sure to leave enough space for heavy farm machinery to pass by at any time.

Saturday 1st May, 7-9 pm
Come to a gathering - walking and talking, and maybe singing and dancing,
plus (weather permitting) a bonfire and barbecue, and watching the sun go down.
Bring food to share and, if you like, a musical instrument.
RSVP for directions to get here by car, caroline@thelabyrinth.org.uk
(be warned, though -- it's still a 200-yard walk across fields, 150 feet downhill and up again)
If you'd like to come, please let me know how many of you there are likely to be
-- and, if you plan to bring any children, their ages.
